Join yoga instructor, Kyla C on Tuesday evenings at 6pm for a gentle yoga class. The recommended cost is $10-$15, but trades are also accepted. Please bring your own mats and props as needed. No preregistration needed! If you have any question please contact Kyla at magickdeery@gmail.com .
The Book Club will start with the May selection of Soft Features by Gillian Burnes. Maine Public's "Virtual Book Club" will stream on the Maine Public's YouTube and Facebook page on Wednesday, May 22 at 7pm. Please have the book read by then! Our Appleton Library Book Club meeting for that book will be at the library on Tuesday, May 28 at 10:00am. Art Exhibits: Daily, during Open Library Hours.
Stroll through the front foyer and the Main Library to admire our revolving-displays, featuring local artists and crafters. Past exhibits have featured oil, acrylic and water-color paintings, sculpture, hooked rugs, quilts, and photography. If you are interested in having your work exhibited, please contact the Library.
Permanent Exhibit: Our permanent exhibit featuring the work of the late Bernard Langlais, gifts from the Colby College and the Kohler Foundation, Inc.
